Visitors can see unique local landscapes in different seasons in Heshun ancient town, a popular tourist destination in Yunnan province.

The Chinese word "heshun", translated literally, means gentle and amiable.

Located in the southwestern part of Tengchong, Heshun is a gateway on the ancient southern Silk Road routes linking Sichuan and Yunnan provinces with Myanmar and India.

It is one of the province's four representative ecological cultural villages, with its rich natural landscapes and cultural relics.

The town has preserved ancient architectural patterns for streets and dwellings. There are also various galleries showing off its rich arts, such as the Intangible Cultural Heritage Pavilion, Shadow Play Art Gallery and the Ancient Paper-making Museum.
