——Mengzhou city to build China's first bonded characteristic town featuring electronic sports

Mengzhou city, Henan province will focus on building a bonded characteristic town featuring e-sports, the first of its kind in China. The project is expected to cover an area of 200 hectares with an investment of two billion yuan ($283.07 million). The government of Mengzhou city will cooperate with the Henan Dezhong Bonded Logistics Center and the China National Sports Group to build an industrial pattern that consists of a competitive video gaming center, an e-sports incubation training center, a fitness and leisure center, a supporting service center, and an e-sports equipment import and export processing base. The city will strive to develop the characteristic town project into a bonded town focused on e-sports with international influence in three to five years.
